How It Works
Earthya Coffee Straws are made from upcycled spent coffee grounds combined with a certified compostable polyester — containing zero plastic. The material is engineered to maintain structural rigidity for 24 hours submerged in liquid, hot or cold, without softening or breaking apart. The sharp-end design allows easy piercing through standard cup lids and seals. Each straw is individually wrapped, keeping it hygienic until the moment it's used. Unlike paper straws that disintegrate within minutes, or plastic straws that never break down, the Earthya straw delivers real performance without the poison. SIRIM Eco Label certified. Home composting certification under TÜV Austria is currently in progress.
